Iwona Sobotka makes her role debut as Mimi at Opera Podlaska (Poland) and heads to Madrid and Lisbon for symphony concerts.

This month Iwona Sobotka makes her role debut as Mimi in the Puccini opera ‘La Boheme’ at the Opera Podlaska. The production is directed by Maria Saratova and conducted by Pawel Kotla. This marks the second apperance this season in Bialystok (Poland), after revival of The Magic Flute in October 2016.
In between performances as Mimi, on March 26 Iwona Sobotka journeys to Lisbon for a concert with Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa to perform Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn counducted by Michael Zilm.
Earlier this month on March 11, Polish soprano can be seen in Madrid performing Gorecki’s Symphony no. 3 at Arte Sacro Festival with Joven Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid conducted by Victor Pablo Perez.
