Iwona Sobotka debutes with the Berliner Philharmoniker during its Asian tour and returns to Katowice to sing with the National Polish Radio Symphonic Orchestra.
MAY 2016. It’s been ten years since Iwona Sobotka worked with Sir Simon Rattle for the first time, registering the songs of Karol Szymanowski for the EMI Classics. This month, the artists will meet again on stage during the Berliner Philharmoniker Asian tour, where the Polish artist will perform a part in the Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. The concerts will take place on May the 7th and 8th in the Taipei National Theater & Concert Hall (Taiwan) and, on May the 15th, in the Suntory Hall in Tokyo (Japan). The 7th of May’s concert will be broadcasted by the DIGITAL CONCERT HALL platform.
Shortly after, Iwona Sobotka will return to Katowice to perform with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Polish National Philharmonics’ Choir on May 19th. The concert programme includes the Lithany to the Holy Mary of Karol Szymanowski – two fragments for soprano, female choir and orchestra with libretto by Jerzy Liebert and under the direction of Alexander Liebreich, the artistic director of the Polish NOSPR. The event will be transmitted by the Channel 2 of the Polish Radio.[:pl]

MAJ 2016. Ponad 10 lat temu Iwona Sobotka po raz pierwszy pracowała z Sir Simonem Rattle przy wspólnym projekcie nagrań Szymanowskiego dla EMI Classic. W tym miesiącu artyści ponownie spotkają się na estradzie podczas tournée Filharmonii Berlińskiej po Azji, gdzie Iwona wystąpi w 9. Symfonii L. van Beethovena. Koncerty odbędą się w 7 i 8 maja w National Theater & Concert Hall w Taipei (Tajwan) oraz 15 maja w Suntory Hall w Tokyo (Japonia). Koncert 7 Maja będzie będzie można obejrzeć za pośrednictwem platformy DIGITAL CONCERT HALL
Również w Maju, Iwona wraca do Katowic, aby 19 Maja wystąpić z Narodową Orkiestrą Symfoniczną Polskiego Radia w Katowicach i Chórem Filharmonii Narodowej. W programie koncertu znajdą się Litania do Marii Panny Karola Szymanowskiego – dwa fragmenty na sopran, chór żeński i orkiestrę do słów Jerzego Lieberta. Całość poprowadzi dyrektor artystyczny NOSPR Alexander Liebreich, a transmisję z wydarzenia przeprowadzi 2. program Polskiego Radia.[:es]

Iwona Sobotka hace su debut con la Filarmónica de Berlín durante una gira por Asia y vuelve a Katowice para cantar con la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de la Radio Polaca.
MAYO 2016. Iwona Sobotka trabajó por primera vez con Sir Simon Rattle hace más de 10 años, en un proyecto común durante el cual se llevaron a cabo las grabaciones de las obras de Szymanowski para EMI Classics. Los artistas vuelven a encontrarse en el escenario durante la gira de la Filarmónica de Berlín por Asia, donde Iwona interpretará la Sinfonía núm. 9 de Beethoven. Los conciertos tendrán lugar los días 7 y 8 de mayo en el National Theater & Concert Hall en Taipei (Taiwán) y, el 15 de mayo, en el Suntory Hall de Tokio (Japón). El concierto del 7 de mayo se podrá ver a través de la plataforma DIGITAL CONCERT HALL.
Poco después Iwona volverá a Katowice, donde actuará el 19 de mayo, junto con la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de la Radio de Polonia y el Coro de la Filarmónica Nacional. El programa del concierto incluye la Letanía a la Virgen María de Karol Szymanowski: dos fragmentos para soprano, coro femenino y orquesta, con letra de Jerzy Liebert, a cargo de Alexander Liebreich, el director artístico de la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de la Radio de Polonia.
