Iwona Sobotka starts the new season with return to Opera Podlaska as Pamina and begins rehearsals as Tatyana in a new production of Teatr Wielki in Łódź.

Iwona Sobotka continues with her intense schedule this new season, with a diary full of exciting challenges. After a busy summer season, during which Iwona Sobotka appeared at the highly acclaimed concert at the 50th Festival of Jan Kiepura in Krynica – Zdroj (Poland), and vocal recital with Janusz Olejniczak, at the Festival “Chopin and his Europe” in Warsaw (Poland), the Polish soprano returns to the opera stage.
Iwona Sobotka will return to Opera Podlaska in September in the role of Pamina (The Magic Flute). Directed by Jacek Marszewski first show of the season will take place on September 16th and will be conducted by Grzegorz Berniak.
Also in September, Iwona Sobotka starts rehearsals of one of her favorite operas Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky. Directed by Paul Szkotak and conducted by Wojciech Rodek, premiere of this new production is scheduled for October 29th.
